‘Getting around difficult scenarios in the home’ is a series of infographic guides designed to help us navigate social interaction within the home during this difficult time. Nicolette believes that “with everyone being at home for longer periods of time, minor aggressions that would usually be pushed aside become more apparent and consistently pile up. Comments on personal attributes such as weight gain, appearance, or even general attitude are brought up, and household roles become more apparent.” Through this guide, she seeks to address this situation, asking “rather than acting out and fighting back, how does one circumvent and diffuse these hostile situations?”. Nicolette provides idiosyncratic methods of dealing with the frustrations of family interaction, using humour to frame them in a new light.
